Xerochrysum bracteatum is synonymous with Bracteantha bracteata and Helichrysum bracteatum.
It has been our experience that Xerochrysum bracteatum (Swiss Giants Mix) does not perform well in our area in a cool season planting. Due to a sudden cold snap, all of the plants died. It is possible they may have survived and done better in a milder winter or in a situation that had a more gradual drop in temperature.
